We transfer by vehicle to the village of Mleta before skiing to Lomisi Peak, where the 7th-century Lomisi monastery is located. Here, we have a chance to meet the monks living there and hear the legend of this ancient monastery along a ridge at 2400m, with spectacular views over the high Caucasus, before enjoying the 800 meters of descent back to the vehicle for a transfer on to our next start point.

DAY 1: LOMISI- MT BIDARA
We transfer by vehicle to the village of Mleta before skiing to Lomisi Peak, where the 7th-century Lomisi monastery is located. Here, we have a chance to meet the monks living there and hear the legend of this ancient monastery along a ridge at 2400m, with spectacular views over the high Caucasus, before enjoying the 800 meters of descent back to the vehicle for a transfer on to our next start point.

In the afternoon we head for the Jvari pass, and begin our tour to Mt. Bidara at 3000m with 650 vertical meters of ascent. On the top, we can enjoy a small stop and tea with stunning views over the Gudauri resort and Caucasus valleys followed by an incredible descent of 1000 m right back to the resort.
